Friday Idea!

Today's Friday idea is my youngest daughter's party invitation for her upcoming birthday. For me this is a little elaborate but since she is just turning two and only family is invited I only have to make 5 or so invitations so not a big deal.
The paper is almost amethyst, whisper white, so saffron, pretty in pink and almost amethyst DP. The ink is pretty in pink, gable green, and almost amethyst. The ribbon is from Micheal's $1 bin...surprised I did not say target? The stamp sets are best friends alphabet lower, ginormous flowers, A good egg. Other stuff I used was the scallop punch to make the almost amethyst part of the flower, 1.5' circle punch to punch the center of the ginormous flower that I used so that I could have it be gable green, I also used my circle punch to make the cut out at the top so that the white card portion can be removed. When my computer is working again I will put the white piece through my printer and print the party specifics on it. The total measurements of the card are still the standard 5.5 x 4.25 so it will fit in a normal card envelope, but for me most will be hand delivered.
Sale-a-bration is almost over so if you have not taken advantage of a free stamp set you have till March 17. The great news is I am attaching our Occasions Mini which just came out and you can order stuff from this mini and get free sale-a-bration stamps. Also still going on is the demonstrator kit for 20% off plus an additional stamp set free with it. If you want to get a ton of stamping stuff for very little this is the way to go and you don't even have to sell if you don't want to.
Just so you know Target has new ribbon in their $1 bin!!!!

Friday Idea!

This weekend I have 3 stampin' up! up shows which means there will be a lot of people taking advantage of the Sale-a-bration sale and 3 very lucky hostess taking advantage of all the extra perks of hosting during sale-a-bration.

This weeks Friday Idea is my hostess gifts that I will be demoing this weekend and giving to each hostess at their show. The first is a Thank you card that uses the FREE sale-a-bration set 'lots of thoughts'. The paper is whisper white, ruby red, and sky blue. The ink is ruby red. The background is done with the jumbo wheel 'see you around' with ruby red ink. The ribbon is from where else? my favorite $1 spot at Target.

Next is another pixie purse. I loved how Madeline's valentine treats turned out so I wanted to do another variation of it. I used very vanilla and chocolate chip paper, close to cocoa ink, the stamp sets are Doodle this and Warmest Regards. I dragged the edges in the ink just to add a little something to it, and again I used my corner rounder on the corners and my scallop punch to back the flower. Inside the purse is two tea bags one jasmine tea and one green tea. A cute little gift to say thanks or for a co-worker feeling under the weather.

Last I did at bag topper to get my in the Easter mood. I used Almost amethyst DP paper and ink, the stamp set is For a friend a level 1 hostess set. Colored the flower with the watercolor pencils and then added crystal effects for a little shine. Inside the bag is some easter grass and a few kisses.

Friday Idea!

I made this card for a boy baby shower. Since I only have girls I had to improvise for a boy themed card. The stamp sets that I used is zoofari and warmest regards the paper is whisper white and polka dot and paisley designer print paper. The ink is close to coco and chocolate chip. The eyelets are chocolate chip and the ribbon is from the Target $1 spot. Did you complete a stamping project this week? Send me a picture and you can be featured as our Friday Idea.

Don't forget about Sale-a-bration, its not too late to host a party to take advantage of this sale. During Sale-a-bration the demonstrator kit is 20% off so for right now you can get the kit for $159! I will be placing my next order on Monday Feb. 25 let me know if you need anything.

Friday Idea!

Here is a spring card that I made a couple of days ago. I am trying to use more chipboard in my stuff and glitter seems to be real hot right now. The card is whisper white and the squares are Almost Amethyst DP. I punched the squares using my CM square punch. The flower is from the on board blossoms & basics set. I used a regular glue stick to adhere the glitter. In real life the glitter and the paper match in the picture they do not. The glitter is some scrapbook glitter that I had laying around as well as the green ric-rac. The stamp set used is bunny hugs and I used certainly celery brads to attach it to the card

Friday Idea!

The Friday Idea is another attempt to find a cute Valentine for Maddie's class. I think this is the winner, it is called a pixie purse or pixie pouch...they are all over splitcoaststampers right now, so had to try one on my own. The card stock is Almost Amethyst and whisper white, the ink is pretty in pink and ruby red. The ribbon is just some pink grosgrain that I had in my ribbon box. The stamp set is Love Matters, it is no longer available. I used my CM corner rounder for the corners.

Today starts Sale-a-bration , if you did not get your order to me for todays order it is ok. I will be placing another sale-a-bration order next friday. Remember for every $50 you buy you get a free stamp set! I still have a few dates available if you want to host a party just let me know.
